Handover

Settlement has happened and there will be a few sighs of relief and perhaps some celebration. Unfortunately, there's usually not much time to relax as the vendors are only entitled to possession of the property up until 12pm on the day immediately following settlement (unless otherwise agreed).

It's time to move out and into your new home.

At the final inspection (normally within 7 days before settlement) we will have made arrangements with the purchasers to collect the keys from us, so you'll need to ensure that all keys are available and any warranty cards, instruction manuals, etc are left in the house.
